It is with heavy heart that we bring you news of the passing of a good old boat designer:

William I. B. Crealock, noted yacht designer, author and sailor, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2009 at his home in Carlsbad, California. He was 89. His sailboats and powerboats are known in boating circles worldwide for their performance, quality, and style.
