We'll see you at the Yachtapalooza
on March 26!
"What is a Yachtapalooza?" you ask. We don't know either. We're not even sure it's a real word . . . we expect it was made up by the folks at Crowley's Yacht Yard in Chicago.
There's only one way to find out, so Good Old Boat founders Karen Larson and Jerry Powlas will be at Crowley's on Saturday, March 26, to learn what the fuss is about and maybe even find out the origin of the word. If you ask folks at Crowley's what will be happening, they'll describe it as a day of free seminars and workshops, specials in the Ship's Store, a clearance tent, a nautical flea market run by Nautical Donations, music (think: reggae band), food, and fun! What's not to like about that?
The fun starts at 8 a.m. and runs until 4 p.m. or thereabouts. Perhaps you already knew all about it. We wouldn't be surprised if once again we were the last to find out. Whether it was already on your calendar or you just added it (as we did), we'll see you there.
