S - Z

S2 (first version)

The S2 company was good about putting its S2 logo where you could find it. The series of fine black lines is a good clue also.

Sabre (Old style logo)

Thanks to Eric Miller for his clarification: "After the financial rescue of the company by Ed Miller, they redesigned the Sabre 'S' on the aft end of the cove stripe."

Tanzer

Tanzer remembered to put a logo where the dockwalkers could see it. Most have faded now, no doubt, but you can still make this one out in the mid section.

Tartan

Tartans are well marked also.

Yankee Yachts

I think I can identify one labeled as unknown. "It is a Yankee Yachts. They used this strip on the 26, 28, and 30. I am not sure about the 38. I owned a 26 in the 70's so the layout including the running lights and toe rails also very familiar." -- Jim Wooll from Reverie. "I have a Yankee Yachts, 38, and have owned the 26 and 30 all have the same cove stripe." Howard H. Green, Jr.
