Good Old Boat Regatta Entry Form
Old Boats Only! - This event is open only to boats of some maturity, those designs whose first hull was built before 1975. It is a celebration of the old solid boats and the laid-back, fun-loving people who run them.
One Design Racing, 3 Boats Make A Class! - To promote easy one-design racing, we will provide a start for any group of three or more boats of the same design. For those unable to meet this minimum, we will provide two handicap classes, one for full keel and one for fin keel boats. PHRF ratings are not needed! If you do not have one, a rating will be assigned. Classes can decide whether they want to run spinnaker or non-spinnaker. Classes will compete over an easy 6-12 mile government mark course off of Annapolis.
Race One Day or Both Days - The choice is yours!
Spend The Weekend! - Anchor overnight at the party site. Tender service will be provided.
A Party & Trophies Each Day - Half of the event's enjoyment are the traditional parties. One will be held after each day's race. Daily class trophies will be awarded each day and overall trophies will be awarded Sunday evening. Special trophies for the oldest boat entered and best performing all-ladies' crew.
Come Join The Fun! - Many great old boats are expected including Cal 25s, Catalina 27s, Tritons, Tartan 30s plus many other Tartans, Pearsons, Bristols, C&Cs, etc.
Entries for non-CBYRA Racers Due by October 3! - Check this web site for entry forms. CBYRA members check the Greenbook for info and CBYRA entry forms. LIMITED TO FIRST 80 ENTRIES RECEIVED, SO ENTER EARLY!
Mandatory Skippers Meeting For non-Racing Skippers Friday Evening October 10 -We'll cover basic racing rules, mark identification, roundings and everything you'll need to know to be competitive and enjoy the event.
