Description
The H 35 (also known as Artekno H-35 or H-Boat in some contexts, though distinct from the smaller International H-Boat 27) is a classic Finnish racer-cruiser designed by Hans Groop and built by Artekno OY (Finland) from 1975 to 1986, with approximately 280 hulls produced—making it a moderately common sight in Northern European waters, especially Scandinavia and the Baltic, with some exported to other regions. It's a fractional sloop with a fin keel and skeg-hung rudder, emphasizing a blend of performance and coastal/offshore capability: lively and fun to sail (excellent light-air acceleration from its generous sail plan, good upwind pointing, and responsive handling), yet stable and forgiving with a self-draining cockpit, high ballast ratio, and comfortable motion in chop or moderate breeze—suitable for club racing, family cruising, or longer coastal passages.
