Husler 32/33

Husler 32/33

Description

The Hustler 33 (also known as Verl Hustler 33 or Verl 33) is a British fast cruiser-racer from the late 1970s–early 1980s, designed by Stephen Jones (with roots in his successful Half Ton offshore racer Hustler 32) and built by Verlvale Ltd. (or Verl) in the UK, sharing hull molds with related models like the Oyster 33. It was marketed as a more comfortable, cruising-oriented "sister" to the spartan racing Hustler 32, featuring solid fiberglass construction, a fin keel with spade rudder, and a fractional or masthead sloop rig optimized for strong performance in both light and heavy winds—lively acceleration, good upwind pointing, seaworthy handling, and a balanced helm even in rough conditions.
