Harmony 22
Description
The Harmony 22 is a compact, trailerable American sailboat designed by Chris Bjerregaard as a Midget Ocean Racing Club (MORC) racer, emphasizing nimble performance in club-level racing while offering versatility for daysailing or light cruising. Built by Harmony Yachts and later Gloucester Yachts (USA) starting in 1977, with only 37 hulls produced before production ended (now out of production and quite rare). It's a fiberglass daggerboard monohull with a fractional sloop rig, known for good upwind speed, easy trailering (lightweight and shallow draft when board up), and a fun, responsive feel—owners report solid racing results (e.g., competitive in mixed fleets with spinnakers) and occasional masthead rig conversions for variety.
