MAMBA 33

MAMBA 33

Description

The Mamba 33 (also written as MAMBA 33) is a Swedish fractional sloop cruiser-racer designed by Bengt Karlsson and built by Mamba Boats (Sweden) from 1985 to 1991. It's a mid-sized fiberglass yacht (GRP hull) known for combining good sailing performance (fast and responsive with a modern hull shape) and comfortable family accommodations (saloon height ~1.8 m / 5'11", berths for 6–8, galley, heads). The design was popular in Scandinavia for its balance of speed, seaworthiness, and value—often praised as a "solid performer" in moderate winds, with a generous sail plan for light air and a fin keel/spade rudder for agile handling. Production was modest (dozens of hulls).
