The Manta 40 is a highly regarded cruising catamaran built by Manta Enterprises (later Manta Catamarans) in Largo, Florida, USA, starting in 1994 (with production through the late 1990s/early 2000s). It was originally developed in partnership with Endeavour Yachts (using their molds and expertise), and the design is credited to French naval architect Erik LeRouge (known for performance-oriented multihulls like the Freydis series).
