Mariah 27

Mariah 27

Description

The Mariah 27 is a high-performance Midget Ocean Racing Club (MORC) racer designed by the American firm Graham & Schlageter and built in fiberglass by Mariah Yachts (a limited-production Southern California builder) starting in 1986, with only a small number of hulls produced (exact quantity not documented, but very low due to the boutique nature of the yard and the era's MORC boom). It features a fin keel with spade rudder for responsive handling and excellent upwind agility, a masthead sloop rig optimized for speed in moderate-to-light winds, and a minimalist interior suitable for racing with occasional cruising potential
