Mason 33
Description
The Mason 33 is a classic bluewater cruiser designed by Alvin Mason and built by Ta Shing Yacht Building (Taiwan) from 1984 to 1989, with only 20 hulls produced—making it a rare, high-quality semi-custom yacht imported by Pacific Asian Enterprises (PAE) in the US. It features solid fiberglass construction (built to Lloyd's specifications for durability), a long keel for excellent stability and grounding forgiveness, a masthead sloop rig for balanced all-around performance, and a comfortable, well-finished interior suited for extended coastal or offshore cruising—praised for its seaworthiness, dry ride, reassuring stability in all conditions, and timeless lines that evoke a larger boat.
