Mason 54

Mason 54

Description

The Mason 54 is a bluewater cruising sailboat designed by Alain Jezequel and built by Ta Shing Yacht Building Co. in Taiwan, known for high‑end craftsmanship and robust offshore construction. Introduced in the mid‑1980s, roughly 12–15 boats were built, making it one of the rarer large Masons. The hull is solid fiberglass with a skeg‑hung rudder, a deep and secure center cockpit, a cutter rig, and a luxurious hand‑finished teak interior. Features include exceptional tank capacity, offshore‑ready deck layout, balanced performance under sail, and a reputation for long‑distance comfort and durability.
