Massachusetts Bay Hustler 18
Description
The Massachusetts Bay Hustler 18 is an 18‑foot fractional‑sloop daysailer designed by Ray Hunt, built in limited numbers by Hunt Yachts / Marscot Plastics during the early fiberglass era of the late 1950s and early 1960s. Fewer than 40–50 hulls were produced, making it a relatively rare but well‑regarded New England performance daysailer. The boat features a light, responsive fiberglass hull, fin keel, spade‑style rudder, and a simple, efficient sail plan well suited to the gusty conditions of Massachusetts Bay. Owners value its lively upwind ability, straightforward rigging, and classic Hunt hull form that delivers speed, balance, and clean handling.
