Description
The Najad 320 (also known as Najadvarvet Najad 320) is a high-quality Swedish bluewater cruising sailboat produced by Najadvarvet AB (Najad Yachts) in Henån on the island of Orust, Sweden. Designed by Thorwald Karlsson (a co-founder of the yard), it was built from 1983 to 1994, with approximately 120 units constructed in solid fiberglass (GRP) with an iron ballast keel and skeg-hung rudder for excellent stability, durability, and seaworthiness. Renowned for its robust construction, timeless Scandinavian craftsmanship, comfortable teak interior (typically 2 cabins with 5-6 berths, galley, heads, and good storage), and balanced sailing performance suitable for long-distance or coastal cruising, it remains highly regarded among owners for its reliability, easy handling (often with furling genoa and battened mainsail), and strong resale value even decades later.
