Najadvarvet Najad 360
Description
The Najad 360 (also known as Najadvarvet Najad 360) is a respected Swedish bluewater cruising sailboat produced by Najadvarvet AB (Najad Yachts) in Henån, Orust, Sweden, designed by Thorwald Karlsson (a key figure and co-founder at the yard). Built from approximately 1984/1985 to 1995, around 215 hulls were constructed using solid fiberglass (GRP) construction with a fin keel (or sometimes described with skeg rudder protection), iron ballast, and emphasis on robust, high-quality Scandinavian build standards for seaworthiness, comfort, and longevity—typical of Orust yards. It features a masthead sloop rig, a practical and well-finished teak interior (usually 2 cabins with 5-6 berths, spacious galley, heads, and good stowage), stable handling suitable for extended coastal or offshore passages, excellent insulation/soundproofing, and a reputation for reliability and bluewater capability among owners.
