Ocean Dream 35
Description
The Oceandream 35 (also spelled Ocean Dream 35 or Oceandream 35 Westerly) is a premium British center-cockpit cruiser built by Westerly Marine Construction Ltd. (UK) in the early 1990s (production ~1991–1993, with very small numbers—likely low dozens based on rarity in listings and Westerly owner archives). It is a later evolution of the Westerly Seahawk 35 (aft-cockpit version) and related to the Kestrel 35 (aft cockpit), designed by Ed Dubois (a noted British architect for spacious, seaworthy family cruisers with offshore potential). Featuring solid fiberglass (GRP) construction, twin keel or fin keel options (twin keels for drying out and shallow access), a center cockpit for excellent protection and visibility, and a generous, well-finished interior (typically 2–3 cabins with 6–7 berths, spacious galley, heads, and good tankage/storage for extended coastal or bluewater cruising). It's renowned for craftsmanship, seaworthiness, luxury, speed, and safety—combining performance with comfort, often described as a "dream" family cruiser with strong light-air capability and reassuring stability in rough conditions.
