Ohlson 41

Ohlson 41

Description

The Ohlson 41 is a classic sailboat designed by Swedish naval architect Einar Ohlson, with construction beginning in 1965; it was built to order (not in series production) by various yards including Paul Molich in Denmark (for at least one wooden example, such as the sloop GYRE), Frans Maas in the Netherlands (for a steel hull), and others like Hitters Proost or family-related Swedish yards for finishing, using a mix of materials such as wood, steel, and fiberglass depending on the specific boat; only three to five units were ever built (sources vary slightly, with some citing three and others up to five based on drawings and deliveries), reflecting its rarity and custom, semi-custom nature as an extension of Ohlson's earlier successful models like the Ohlson 38,
