Description

The Eastport Pram is a compact, versatile lightweight wooden dinghy designed by John C. Harris and produced by Chesapeake Light Craft (CLC, introduced in 1999. With plans and kits available from Chesapeake Light Craft (CLC) in Annapolis, Maryland. Inspired by traditional prams and workboats of the Chesapeake Bay region, it combines simplicity, portability, and multi-purpose functionality for beginners, families, and camp-cruisers.

Comments Lug sail, normally vertically cut with one row of reef points, head and foot edge are attached to spars with boltrope into a groove or grommets and lacing.
This was the first Eastport Pram rig, the second has a modified rig with completely different dimensions and battens added to the lug and is typically done as a crosscut sail.
