Islander 37
Description
The Islander 37 is a classic American cruiser-racer sailboat designed by renowned naval architect Bruce King and built by Islander Yachts (later Tradewind Yachts) in Newport Beach, California, from 1966 to 1972, with approximately 50–60 units produced. A kit version was offered under the Yachtcraft brand, allowing home completion for cost savings. This 37-footer embodies the Cruising Club of America (CCA) design ethos of the 1960s, blending elegant lines, seaworthiness, and spirited performance for coastal or offshore cruising. 12500 lbs.
