Shipman 28 (Baltic 28)
Description
The Shipman 28 (also known as the Baltic 28 in some markets) is a classic Swedish cruiser-racer sailboat designed by Olle Enderlein. It was built primarily by Shipman Sweden AB (and later by Albin Marine and others, including Fiberman in Ireland) between 1969 and 1979, with around 1,000 units produced. It features a fiberglass hull, fin keel with skeg-hung rudder, and a masthead sloop rig, making it a popular, affordable entry into performance-oriented coastal and occasional offshore sailing for its era.
