Stortriss MKII

Stortriss MKII

Description

The Stortriss MKII is a 24‑foot (7.3 m) lapstrake sailing dinghy/cruiser designed by Harald Stenbeck and offered as plans by Båt och Bygg (Sweden) since the 1970s. The MKII is an improved version of the original Stortriss with refined hull lines, better interior layout, and simplified construction. Dozens have been built worldwide by amateur craftsmen seeking a versatile pocket cruiser. Features 8‑strake lapstrake plywood construction, a gaff sloop rig, standing headroom in the cabin (berths for 2–3), galley area, and centerboard for shallow draft. Known for seaworthiness, speed, and classic Scandinavian styling, it's ideal for solo/coastal cruising.
