Snark Sunflower 10 (Mark V, Super Snark

Description

The Snark Sunflower 10 (also called Sunflower or Sunflower Mark V) is the classic 10‑foot "unsinkable" sailboat produced by Snark Products (USA) from 1962 through the 1980s, with over 200,000 units sold—arguably the best‑selling sailboat design ever. Constructed with Styrofoam core encased in fiberglass for unsinkable flotation, it features a lateen rig, kick‑up centerboard/rudder, self‑bailing cockpit, and extreme portability (38 lb hull). Designed for beginners, kids, and instruction, its bulletproof simplicity made it ubiquitous at camps, resorts, and summer programs. Still in production as the Super Snark.
