Sunshine 19

Sunshine 19

Description

The Sunshine is a 19‑foot plywood pocket cruiser designed by Ken Swan (Canada) and offered as plans since the 1980s. Popular among amateur builders (dozens constructed), it features simple stitch‑and‑glue construction, a cabin with V‑berth/settees (sleeps 2), galleyette, portable head, centerboard for shallow draft, and gaff sloop rig. Known for seaworthiness, trailerability, and cozy cruising in protected waters, its traditional lines and economical build appeal to solo/couple adventurers.
