Swan 42
Description
The Swan 42 is a distinguished Finnish sailboat designed by renowned naval architect Ron Holland as a cruiser-racer and first built in 1980. Constructed by Oy Nautor AB in Finland, this model had a production run from 1980 to 1985 with exactly 38 boats completed, making it a relatively exclusive design now out of production. The design was based on Holland's successful 1979 Admiral's Cup yacht "Regardless," which notably won two races in that prestigious regatta, and incorporates deck and interior elements derived from the Swan 441 and Swan 44 models.
