Swan 432 SD Sloop (Swan 43)

Swan 432 SD Sloop (Swan 43)

Description

The Swan 432 SD Sloop (also known as the Swan 43 Holland) is a distinguished Finnish sailboat designed by renowned naval architect Ron Holland as a bluewater cruiser and first built in 1985. The design was originally marketed by the manufacturer as the Swan 43 but is now usually referred to as the Swan 43 Holland or the Swan 432, to differentiate it from the unrelated Sparkman & Stephens 1967 Swan 43 design. The "SD" designation refers to the Shallow Draft variant, which features the standard Sheel keel configuration. Constructed by Oy Nautor AB in Finland, this model had a limited production run from 1985 to 1990 with only 28 boats completed, averaging just 4.7 boats per year.
