Swan 57 Ketch

Swan 57 Ketch

Description

The Swan 57 Ketch (S&S design #2297) is the ketch-rigged version of the classic Swan 57 offshore cruiser-racer designed by Sparkman & Stephens. It was built by Oy Nautor AB in Finland from 1977 to 1984, with a total of 49 hulls completed across both sloop and ketch configurations (the ketch being a popular option for easier sail handling on long passages). This model features robust fiberglass construction with optional teak decks, a fin keel with rudder on skeg, elegant S&S styling, and high-quality teak interior joinery. The ketch rig provides versatile sail combinations for shorthanded bluewater cruising while retaining strong performance for club racing or offshore events.
