Description

The Swan 57 S&S (Sparkman & Stephens design #2297) is a classic offshore cruiser-racer designed by Sparkman & Stephens as one of their final collaborations with Nautor Swan. It was built by Oy Nautor AB in Finland from 1977 to 1984, with a total of 49 hulls completed. Available primarily as a masthead sloop (with a ketch rig option also offered), the boat features robust fiberglass construction, optional teak decks, a fin keel with rudder on skeg, and elegant S&S styling with a raked bow, moderate sheer, and powerful yet balanced hull form suited for both competitive racing and comfortable long-distance bluewater cruising.
