Swan 60 FD
Description
The Swan 60 FD (Flush Deck) is a modern high-performance racer-cruiser designed by Germán Frers and built by Oy Nautor AB in Finland from 2009 to 2017, with only 10 hulls completed. It was developed as a lighter, faster evolution of the earlier Swan 60 series (1994–2003), using advanced carbon fiber pre-preg construction for the hull, deck, and rig to reduce weight while maintaining strength and stiffness. The flush deck layout emphasizes clean lines, a large open cockpit optimized for shorthanded sailing (with powered winches and all lines led aft), and a direct steering system for responsive handling. It features a fractional sloop rig (19/20), high stability from a wide beam and T-shaped bulb keel (with draft options), and a spacious, light-filled interior with symmetrical layouts, a large saloon, and multiple cabin configurations for comfortable bluewater cruising or competitive racing.
