Swan 60 (1994-2003)
Description
The Swan 60 (1994–2003 series) is a luxurious performance cruiser-racer designed by Germán Frers and built by Oy Nautor AB in Finland, with 28 hulls completed. It marked an important flagship model in the Frers era at Nautor Swan, featuring a modern beamy hull with high stability, elegant lines, and a balance of racing speed and comfortable bluewater cruising accommodations. Construction used high-quality fiberglass with teak decks and premium teak interior joinery, while the deck layout supported shorthanded sailing with lines often led aft. A later, more modern Swan 60 FD (Flush Deck) and Swan 60 S (Salon) series appeared from 2009–2017 (only 10 hulls), incorporating advanced carbon/pre-preg construction, a fractional rig, and even lighter displacement for enhanced performance.
