Swan 61

Swan 61

Description

The Swan 61 is a handsome performance bluewater cruiser designed by Germán Frers and built by Oy Nautor AB in Finland from 1985 to 1990, with only 14 hulls completed. It represents a larger, more spacious evolution in the Frers Swan lineup, offering excellent stability, a powerful masthead sloop rig, and luxurious teak interior joinery in layouts typically accommodating 8 berths in 4 cabins with multiple heads. The boat features solid fiberglass construction with a cored deck, a fin keel with spade rudder, and a practical deck layout for shorthanded or crewed sailing, making it equally suited for comfortable long-distance cruising or occasional racing while maintaining the elegant Frers styling and Nautor build quality.
