SWEDE 55

SWEDE 55

Description

The Swede 55 was designed by Knud Hjelmberg Reimers and built by Fisksätra Varv AB (Fisksätra Shipyard) in Västervik, Sweden from 1975-1985 with only 35 boats completed over the 10-year production run. This distinctive design represents a modern interpretation of the classic Swedish Square Metre Boat (Skärgårdskryssare), conceived in 1974-75 as a family-friendly cruising version that combines elegance with performance in a center cockpit configuration for enhanced safety and comfort.
