Sweet 16
Description
The Sweet 16 (also known as Sweet Sixteen) is a 16-foot centerboard dinghy designed by Charles Teeter and built by Advance Sailboat Corporation in Independence, Missouri from 1962-1980 with 537 boats produced. This fractional sloop-rigged dinghy was developed to fill a market void for a boat that was stable, roomy enough for family sailing, lightweight, easy to rig and trailer, yet quick and agile enough for competitive one-design racing. Portsmouth Yardstick Rating: 96
