Description

The Tatoosh 42 was designed by Robert Perry and built by Ta Shing Yacht Building Ltd. in Taiwan starting in 1981. This 41.83-foot masthead sloop features fiberglass construction with a fin keel and rudder on skeg configuration, displacing 21,258 pounds with 8,700 pounds of ballast and drawing 5.83 feet. Described as a performance cruiser, it offers spacious accommodations and excellent seakeeping abilities with generous sail area for light-air performance, making it suitable for blue water cruising and comfortable ocean passages.
