Tofinou 7M

Tofinou 7M

Description

The Tofinou 7M (also known as the Tofinou 7) is a stylish 23-foot (LOA 23.0 ft / 7.01 m) French trailerable daysailer built by Latitude 46 in La Rochelle, France. It is a modern interpretation/replica of a classic 1930s one-off hull from the Île de Ré, updated with contemporary fiberglass construction, teak trim, and practical features for easy beaching and short-handed sailing. The design (credited to Joubert-Nivelt or Merle/Joubert) combines elegant traditional lines with a centerboard (or swing keel) for shallow draft, making it popular for coastal gunkholing, family daysailing, or weekend use in Europe and beyond. Hundreds have been built since the late 1980s/early 1990s, and it remains in production as part of the Tofinou range of classic-style day sailers.
