Tradewind 35

Tradewind 35

Description

The Tradewind 35 is a 35-foot heavy-displacement bluewater cutter designed by John Rock (UK) in the mid-1970s as a development of his earlier Tradewind 33, with slightly extended bow and stern, a longer keel, and refined rudder for better balance and reduced weather helm. It was built in fiberglass (solid GRP with chopped strand mat and woven rovings) primarily by Blondecell Marine (UK) and later by Tradewind Yachts in the Netherlands, with production continuing sporadically into later years. Approximately 70 boats were constructed in total (some sources estimate around 70–120 including the related 33), with owners often keeping them long-term due to their proven offshore capabilities.
