Farrier Trailer Tri 720
Description
The TrailerTri 720 (also known as the Farrier TrailerTri 720 or TT720) is a 23.62–24.0-foot (LOA approx. 24 ft / 7.32 m) trailerable folding trimaran designed by New Zealand naval architect Ian Farrier in 1976. It was sold primarily as plans for amateur/owner-builders using plywood/epoxy construction, with the first boats appearing in the late 1970s–early 1980s. No factory production run existed; hundreds of hulls were built worldwide by home builders over the decades, making it one of the earlier and most successful designs in Farrier’s folding-trimaran lineage (preceding the famous F-27). The boat pioneered many features that later defined Farrier’s F-boats, including a folding beam system for easy trailering and storage, narrow main hull with rockered U-shaped sections, and high-clearance amas (outriggers).
