Trintella 42 Tall Rig

Trintella 42 Tall Rig

Description

The TRINTELLA 42 is a sophisticated 42.32-foot masthead sloop designed by the legendary Dutch naval architect E.G. van de Stadt and built by Anne Wever Shipyard in the Netherlands from 1981 to 1989. This yacht represents the pinnacle of Dutch craftsmanship, built to Lloyd's of London standards with exceptional quality and seaworthiness that made it suitable for serious ocean voyaging. The design marked Anne Wever's transition from serial GRP production to high-end, semi-custom performance cruising, offering a blend of North Sea robustness and Mediterranean elegance. Only 42 units were built during the eight-year production run, making this a relatively exclusive design that attracted discerning sailors including ARC founder Jimmy Cornell who owned one of these remarkable vessels.
