Tripp 33

Tripp 33

Description

The TRIPP 33 is a high-performance 33-foot fractional sloop designed by William H. Tripp III and built by Carroll Marine in Warren, Rhode Island starting in 1992. This yacht represents a pivotal era in dual-purpose racing yacht evolution, specifically engineered to excel under MORC (Midget Ocean Racing Club) and later IMS (International Measurement System) rules. Only 23 units were produced during the production run, making this an exceptionally exclusive racing yacht that bridges the gap between ultra-light racers of the 1970s and sophisticated one-design fleets of the late 1990s.
