Tripp 47
Description
The Tripp 47 is a high-performance racer/cruiser sailboat designed by William H. "Bill" Tripp III and built primarily by Carroll Marine (with at least one example by Concordia Yachts) in the early-to-mid 1990s. It was conceived as an offshore-capable "thoroughbred" with a strong racing pedigree (including successes in events like the Chicago Mac, Sydney Hobart, and other classics) while offering surprising interior volume and comfort for its performance focus.
