Tripp Lentsch 29

Tripp Lentsch 29

Description

The Tripp Lentsch 29 (also called Tripp/Lentsch 29 or T/L 29) is a classic 1960s fiberglass cruising sailboat designed by William H. "Bill" Tripp Jr. (the father of the designer of the later Tripp 36/37/40/47 series). It was built by Amsterdam Shipyard G. de Vries Lentsch in the Netherlands from around 1961–1968 (or slightly later in some references). This is a distinctly different boat from the modern performance-oriented Tripp designs you’ve asked about previously — it’s a traditional, heavy-displacement pocket cruiser with graceful overhangs, a narrow beam by today’s standards, and a focus on solid, safe, comfortable sailing rather than racing speed.
