US Yachts 30 (Corinthian 30)

US Yachts 30 (Corinthian 30)

Description

The US 30 (also known as the US Yachts US 30 or Corinthian 30) is a 30-foot masthead sloop designed by Douglas Peterson (with input from Daryl Watson) and built by US Yachts / Bayliner (Buccaneer/US Yachts division) from 1979 to 1983. It was marketed as an affordable performance cruiser/racer with IOR-influenced lines from the late 1970s/early 1980s era. The hull shares some DNA with earlier Peterson half-ton racers but features a production-oriented deck layout distinct from the related Buccaneer 295. Molds later went to Pearson, which produced a similar version as the Triton 30.
