Description
The US 33 (also known as the US Yachts US 33) is a 33-foot masthead sloop designed by Doug Peterson (reportedly without full authorization in some accounts) and built by US Yachts / Bayliner (Buccaneer division) from 1981 to 1983. It is part of Bayliner's short-lived but affordable sailboat lineup in the early 1980s, emphasizing a balance of coastal cruising comfort and club-racing potential with IOR-influenced performance lines. The hull features a fin keel and spade rudder for better handling than some blockier Bayliner-era boat
