US Yachts 42

US Yachts 42

Description

The US 42 (also known as the US Yachts US 42) is the largest model in the US Yachts / Bayliner (Buccaneer division) sailboat lineup. Designed by Stan Huntingford as a heavy-displacement cruiser, it was built from 1982 to 1986. Like the smaller US Yachts models, it emphasizes spacious accommodations, moderate performance, and affordability over high-end construction or racing edge. It is a beamy, comfortable coastal cruiser suitable for family liveaboard or extended coastal voyaging rather than offshore passage making or club racing.
