US Yachts 27
Description
The US YACHTS US 27 is a recreational keelboat designed by Doug Peterson (unauthorized development) and Daryl Watson, built by US Yachts (Bayliner) in the United States starting in 1983. This yacht represents an interesting chapter in American sailboat production history, as it began life as Peterson's CHASER 29 (first built in 1975) before being significantly modified by Bayliner/US Yachts with a completely different deck and numerous other changes. The design is now out of production, but its legacy continues through the TRITON 27, which Pearson Yachts developed after purchasing the molds in 1984.
