Description
The Van de Stadt 30, designed by E.G. van de Stadt as a compact offshore cruiser, was built by various small yards and owner-builders primarily in the Netherlands and UK from the 1970s-1980s (~unknown exact quantity, likely dozens from plans/kits), using fiberglass or steel construction with a long fin keel, skeg-hung rudder, masthead sloop rig, and emphasis on seaworthiness (moderate D/L ~250).
