Vector
Description
The Vanguard Vector (commonly called the Vector) is a high-performance double-trapeze skiff designed in 2001 by Bob Ames (of Bob Ames Naval Architecture) in collaboration with Steve Clark. It was built by Vanguard Sailboats (USA) as a modern, accessible performance dinghy aimed at bridging the gap between elite-level skiffs and more forgiving boats for intermediate sailors. Only a limited number were produced, making it relatively rare today.
