Vennekens Koral 46
Description
The Vennekens Koral 46 is a robust, oceangoing fiberglass (or occasionally steel) cruising yacht built in small numbers by the Belgian shipyard Jachtwerf Vennekens (founded 1952 in Boom, Belgium). It is a semi-custom or limited-production model from the late 1980s (examples from 1988 are documented), designed as a strong, comfortable bluewater or long-distance coastal cruiser with practical layout and good payload capacity. The yard specialized in sturdy, well-finished custom and semi-custom boats, and the Koral series (including the smaller Koral 40) emphasized seaworthiness, watertight bulkheads, and reliable construction for North Sea and offshore use. Production was low volume, with only a handful of Koral 46 hulls known.
