The Vennekens Koral 53 is a large, robust fiberglass (GRP) cruising yacht built in very limited numbers by the Belgian shipyard Jachtwerf Vennekens (founded in 1952 in Boom, Belgium). The yard specializes in strong, well-finished custom and semi-custom pleasure craft in steel, aluminum, composite, and GRP. The Koral 53 belongs to the Koral series (alongside the smaller Koral 40 and 46), which emphasizes seaworthiness, practical layouts, and durability for coastal or longer-distance cruising rather than high-volume production.
