Victoria Frances 26 (Victoria 800)
Description
The Victoria 26 (also known as the Victoria Frances 26 or Victoria 800 after a 1990 rename) is a charming, heavy-displacement double-ender pocket cruiser designed by Chuck Paine (with roots in his personal Frances 26 design). It was built by Victoria Marine Ltd. in Warsash, Southampton, UK, from 1982 to 1998 (hulls laid up by Northshore Yachts), with approximately 150+ examples produced in the UK. The boat shares the same hull as the Frances 26 but features a taller coachroof aft and a shallow well forward of the mast for improved interior volume and headroom while retaining the classic double-ended aesthetics and seaworthy character.
