Viking 22

Viking 22

Description

The Viking 22 is a lightweight, trailerable fractional sloop daysailer/racer designed by the renowned Canadian design team Cuthbertson & Cassian (C&C) in 1965. It was built in fiberglass by Ontario Yachts in Canada, with production continuing into the late 1960s/early 1970s (exact numbers are modest but it was a popular club racer and family boat of its era). The design emphasizes performance and simplicity in a compact package, with a modern-for-its-time fin keel and spade rudder for responsive handling.
